Have u guys read on the GEP storm??? It’s a wonder what small kids write these days in their blogs. A controversy brewed on the issue of …
“Are neighbourhood schools good enough?
Are gifted students arrogant?”
A girl reported that Branded schools are the BEST to grow up in. She even made a remark that neighbourhood schools are not good enough.

Seriously, I salute a Top PSLE student by the name of Hamizah Nordin who picked a less prestigious neighbourhood school even though she obtained an aggregate score of 273. I would say she is ‘GROUNDED’ because she knows what’s best for her. She is a MATURE individual who chooses to be more realistic in life.

Well, I’ve nothing much to say about the other individual who thinks 'GEPers are more mature than most mainstreamers, the result of being in the GEP.’

I’m not trying be sour grapes…but what were you thinking???  But ….have you heard…she is going to RGS, which stopped offering the gifted programme at the secondary level after starting its integrated programme (IP) last year. HAHAHA!!!!

Let’s hear it again …HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I woke up this morning with ‘BreakAway’ in the background. At first, I thought it was Joss Stone’s but as I discovered later it was actually Kelly Clarkson, the first American Idol winner… She rose like a phoenix when her soulful voice captured the hearts and minds of millions of Americans. I salute her courage to be steadfast against all odds. She became an anonymous talent to a nationally acclaimed superstar in a matter of ten weeks.

"I'm not materialistic, but I am ambitious.”

and as for me…

I am becoming an ULTIMATEKC

(a fanatic Ultimate Kelly Clarkson fan)

Grew up in a small town
And when the rain would fall down
I'd just stare out my window
Dreamin' of what could be
And if I'd end up happy
I would pray

Trying hard to reach out
But, when I tried to speak out
Felt like no one could hear me
Wanted to belong here
But something felt so wrong here
So I prayed I could break away

I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly
I'll do what it takes till I touch the sky
And I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change
And break away
Out of the darkness and into the sun
But, I won't forget all the ones that I love
I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change
And break away

Wanna feel the warm breeze
Sleep under a palm tree
Feel the rush of the ocean
Get on board a fast train
Travel on a jetplane, far away
And break away

I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly
I'll do what it takes till I touch the sky
And I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change
And break away
Out of the darkness and into the sun
I won't forget all the ones that I love
I gotta take a risk, take a chance, make a change
And break away

Buildings with a hundred floors
Swinging round revolving doors
Maybe I don't know where they'll take me
But, gotta keep moving on, moving on
Fly away, break away

I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly
Though it's not easy to tell you goodbye, gotta
Take a risk, take a chance, make a change
And break away
Out of the darkness and into the sun
But, I won't forget of the place I come from
I gotta take a risk, take a chance, make a change
And break away

Breakaway
Breakaway
