yooooooooooooohooooooooooooo...I am back from THE shopping trip!
The KL trip that was supposedly to be the highlight of my shopping of the year... *sighs* well it's not...bought only ten tudungs, two Tshirts, 4 lanyards and also RM180 worth of brooches. Was thinking of getting a few bags and shoes...but well I didn't have the mood to shop... dunno why...these nightly jabs have taken a toll on me...I am just plain tired... well what to do...I want it and I have to see it through no matter how many holes it will burn in my pocket or the number of heartaches it will cause.
ok back to the trip... I've always enjoyed going out with my family...we may have all our bickerings and kecohmecoh but the truth of it all...we had fun.
Royale Bintang was ok...but customer service sux big time! The epitome of Arab bootlickers...all I can say...KL need GEMS! well I was trying to decipher it all with my hubby...probably it's just the Singaporeans who behave badly when they are on holiday and therefore all Singaporeans have been stamped as
being VOID and NULL by others.

It was raining the last evening we were at KL...another spoiler! We walked around Bt Bintang aimlessly waiting for the rain to stop and finally we gave up! We had dinner at Swensen's...don't ask me why...ask my mummy why she adores Swensen's to the extreme...something we all can't comprehend. Oh yeah I did not get my Subway sandwich...lemme repeat that again... I DID NOT GET MY SUBWAY SANDWICH!!! I am so depressed! But wait we got... I dunno why but the outback reminds me of Kangaroo meat...that's why I had one of the best pastas ever in my life...Seafood pasta...
The next morning, we did some last minute Famous Amos shopping and then set off to Genting. Don't bother to ask why we went Genting...an abstract beyond comprehension choice on my mummy's part...she says its all becoz of little Atif! Alamak mummy...just put him in an aircon room and he gets to know what Genting is all about! What a shock we got upon reaching First World Hotel...indah khabar dari rupa...nih semua Papa punya pasal ah...cakap hotel nih besar bagus...we had to wait for nearly 2.5 hrs to check in...there were so many and i mean TRUCKLOADS of apeks and nyonyas on their gambling spree! 99% of them are Singaporeans! All come armed with a small bag and I bet loads of ka-ching! I looked around for Ah-long-sans and also muggers but couldn't find any! I bet they must be amusing themselves in the park taking all the thrill rides while taking a break from the Casino De Genting. The rooms were such a big shocker with no cupboards and a pathetic (i think) 10inch TV! One of the worst hotels I have ever been to! This must really be the gamblers' halfway house! That' s why our travel agent told us...the rooms are clean because people don't sleep in the rooms...it's just a locker for their belongings!
Wait! The fun is not over yet!Look at this!
THE BEST BREAKFAST BUFFET EVER...NOT! I was reminded of a scene in Mean Girls where people scavenge for food and behaving like animals in the wild! It was a total disaster! Like a pelarian camp...people were so famished I guess...quarelled over queues and also everything was like a scene from lunchroom chaos! never imagine that humans can be so uncivilized! There were no more cups and Papa had to resort to taking his morning dose of coffee in a soup bowl...HAHAHA...We took about 8 eggs and plopped it on a plate... cant be bothered for any second helpings looking at humans pushing each other for food....sebiji mcm binatang-binatang kelaparan!
All in all with the chaos and the shopping disappointment, I enjoyed this trip truly just by being close to my family. Atif is just so adorable...he's the cutest kid ever besides my own children (insya ALLAH). Family bond strengthened and did I mention...I love my family so much? They are the blood that runs through my veins and they are truly the pumping heart of my life...

This was also a trip that me and hubby made a long term decision...shhh! It's a secret kept under lock and key!

I have said my piece!
