My home looks wrecked! Why? It's kinda like a warzone with all the boxes packed and unpacked coz WE R SHIFTING! I am so excited with the prospect of going back to Bt Batok...a place where I grew up in and many eventful things happened while I was there.
To start with, I got my first taste of teaching there. I was cajoled by my mum to start relief teaching. I fell in love with little people and decided to make it my career path. Till today, I have never wavered from teaching and loving kids! oops better not use kids ....it's children coz it was told during Contact time that kids mean the young of a goat....but according to http://thesaurus.reference.com/... kids is a noun that defines offspring or flesh and blood...ok I'm sidetracking here...anyway...I just love KIDS!!! and my lifelong passion will still be them...In Bt Batok...I decided on my life path and I'm gonna stick to it...In Bt batok also, I got to know my love...my hubby...whom it so happens is my kindergarten mate...that is another long story I shall blog about one of these days...I fell in love , fell out of love...fell in love and out of love a few times...and finally Khairulnajib and me got married. So to say...in Bt Batok, my two main decisions in life came together and it shall stay that way.
On the other hand, I was just telling my colleague...I'm gonna miss Senja Rd. We shifted to this place on the night of our marriage...we did not even wait to stay for one night at our parents' house coz we wanted to be independent right from the start. In this house, we started as being a young couple with not much household items...we started from scratch and began building up more things to complete our home. We got cheated by Cadenza, a sofa co. and went all the way to settle it in court. We made many many important decisions concerning our family life...the only thing missing is our own child..We r still pining for it but what to do..Allah asks us to wait...HE has other things for us in HIS agenda...so we shall wait patiently for it. i'm kinda sad of leaving this home of ours...there were many happy memories of me and my darling. I will miss the neighbours, the environment...BT Panjang Plaza, the Banquet at Greenridge(especially the Fried Fish Soup) and many many more...but most importantly, the home that has 'MARRIAGE LIFE BEGINS HERE' stamped on it.
