A magnitude 8.7 earthquake struck off the Indonesian island of Sumatra early this morning. I am hoping the aftershocks don't generate tsunamis. We are just trying to cope with the Boxing Day disaster and now...another disaster is looming. When I watched CNA just now, it gave me goosebumps. What is happening to the world at this moment? We are suddenly plagued by one natural misfortune after another. All this are happening right at our doorstep. Suddenly, I felt empty. Fear strikes me at this moment too. I don't want to die yet , Oh ALLAH! I still have many things on my list. I seek your forgiveness, ALMIGHTY. Please ALLAH, let us all be safe. Please do not put us through the another endurance test. Let us be safe. I read somewhere that when GOD bestows a misfortune, it is because HE is angry and he wants humans to realise that. Looks like Indonesia has a lot to think about. With all the corruption and diminishing Muslim ideas, Indonesia certainly has to do a lot of soul searching.
